Chelsea was found hanging out by the dumpsters foraging for food.  The woman who brought her to us said as far as she knew, she was there for at least a week.  When she tried to get near her, Chelsea would withdraw and go back further into the woods.  With nurture and love, Chelsea came around to the woman and she was finally able to bring her to us.  When Chelsea arrived she was pretty hungry and tired.  I can imagine living in the woods by the dumps would do that to anyone.  When she was fed and given a cozy place to sleep, the gratitude this absolutely gorgeous girl showed was beyond words.  She is extremely gentle and very very loving.   She's fantastic with other dogs, cats and people.  Chelsea is a very smart girl and catches on to things quickly.  She likes to play but most of all Chelsea is a companion dog. She just really wants someone to love and get the same in return.  

As of 9/10/15, Chelsea is estimated to be about 3 years old.  She is spayed and up to date on all her current vaccinations.  Chelsea has an incredible amount of love to give and she deserves someone that can give her the same in return.  She is an absolute gem.  If you have a lot of room in your heart for this beautiful sweetheart, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
