Maggie came from an irresponsible family that has surrendered three litters within the last year.  She was one of four pups rescued, but because of this family's neglect in handling their dogs, and never having them vaccinated or altered; sweet Maggie was the only one out of her 3 other precious sisters to survive.  Maggie came in covered in fleas, underweight and with worms in her little belly.  She was very small and very scared.  Once Maggie was treated for fleas, wormed and properly nourished, she transformed into a very energetic and sweet little girl.  She’s small but strong and she is a little fighter.  Despite her very difficult beginning in this world, Maggie is very friendly and happy.  Playing is her number one priority as it should be with any puppy as well as giving affection and love.  Maggie has had a pretty hard life up until recent and really deserves a home that can only give her the best.

Maggie is about 4-1/2 months old, up to date with all her first year vaccinations, but will need to be spayed once she reaches the appropriate age of 6-7 months old.  She is a Shepard mix and will be a medium size dog once fully grown.  Maggie will need to be house trained once in her new environment.  If you have room in both your heart and your home to give Maggie the attention and love this little survivor deserves, please submit an application at www.socorescue.com.
