Description:
It would be hard to describe Luna in just one word, even in one sentence. All of the typically used adjectives, like "sweet", "playful", heartwarming" or any other do fit into the description of Luna, but do not even begin to do her justice. If words were measured in size to fit Life for Luna and her three sisters began pretty roughly. All were left next to a dumpster when they were only a couple of months old. Were it not for a passerby seeing them there, all four girls surely would have perished on the streets. The person that found these girls immediately brought them to SoCo Rescue, where they received a lot of love and care, even seeing the three sisters finding their perfect new homes. Each adopter has described their new addition as "the perfect fit" for their home. No doubt Luna, once her big day comes, will also receive that label as all four sisters bore similar personalities. While Luna waits her turn at adoption, she has been taken under the wings of SoCo's president, Scott Bennet and has been receiving personal attention to get ready for life in a home. She's doing pretty good at her house training but does need a little more work to fully master that art. With her innocent personality, Luna is a bit wary of new dogs, especially bigger ones, but becomes friends very quickly once she gets comfortable with them. She does tend to warm up to other smaller dogs much quicker and seems to assume the role as the submissive dog in a pack. Being a puppy, Luna still has much in life to learn. She isn't destructive but has the typical puppy hewing issues that are controlled with doggie toys and such. One strange quirk that she has exhibited is a nightly gathering of shoes that she simply takes to her sleeping spot but never chews them. She is crate trained and will sleep either in a doggie bed or curled up in bed with her human friends. Luna has already been fully vetted and is very healthy. She always has a pretty little smile on her face which matches her bubbly personality. Luna would be ideal as a companion for a child who is of the proper age and responsible enough to properly handle a small dog. She tends to shy away from loud noises and will do best in a home without an abundance of commotion.
