Meet Trixie, a 7 month old female Chihuahua-Dachshund mix happy to have a second chance with finding her forever home. Trixie had been in a local animal control and was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding at the shelter. But fate was on Trixie's side as a woman saw a plea on Facebook asking someone to save Trixie's life. The woman adopted Trixie from the shelter in order to save her life and hope to find Trixie a new home. This woman did provide all the vet care that Trixie needed and has her scheduled to be spayed.

Trixie has been living in a home with two children and two other like-sized dog and has been excellent. Trixie was a little scared while at the animal control and after she first got to her foster families home but took no time to accept them. She is a great a lap dog and loves to relax near her humans.

As mentioned, Trixie will be spayed and has received all of her vaccines including her rabies. She is a small dog, weighing about 10 lbs.
