Almost a year ago, this thin and desperate looking German Shorthaird Pointer came wondering up to a man's door. This dog looked like he was on his last leg and needed help. Apparently lost or abandoned, Jacob was looking for food and water. As luck would have it, Jacob had wandered onto the property of a man that had a very soft spot for stray animals. He nursed Jacob back to health and gave him much love.

Jacob has been very friendly with the other dogs on the property. He is also very, very good with people, even strangers. He does like to run so a home with plenty of room will be best. Jacob has shown to be housetrained and is not destructive inside or outside a home. He is always in a great mood, just look at the smile on his face!

Jacob still needs to be neutered and get an update on his vaccines. Finding a sponsor to cover these cost will help tremendously as the current caretaker is very limited on funds.  Potential adopters may be asked to help cover the cost of his neutering but there is no adoption fee. Discounted pricing on the neutering will be offered.
