Christy is a young (2+ yrs) Norfolk Terrier mix that is both friendly and very loving. She was found, as a stray, with a severely broken left rear leg. She had crawled into the yard of a former SoCo adopter, who knew just what to do-they called us!

Our first action was to get this girl the needed surgery. With the help of the Norfolk Rescue, who paid for Christy's surgery, her leg has been completely repaired. Christy walks and runs as any "normal" dog, and shows no signs of her past injury being a lingering problem.

From the moment that Christy came to SoCo, she has been the most friendliest dog we have ever met. She gets along great with all other dogs of all sizes. She is house trained and enjoys going into her crate. Christy is wonderful around humans of all ages, and has absolutely no aggression at all. Christy always has a big smile on her face and will brighten every day with her great personality. Even while she was waiting on her surgery, Christy had the greatest of attitudes.

Christy has received all her vaccines, including her rabies, has been wormed and has been on a monthly heart worm preventative since coming to our rescue. She has also been spayed. She weighs approximately 20-25 lbs and will not get much bigger.
