JoJo is a 6 year old Smooth Fox Terrier that was transferred to our rescue from another rescue, in hopes of finding him just the right home. JoJo has been adopted before, while with the other rescue, but returned when the adopters thought him a little to active for their liking. 

 

Smooth Fox Terriers, on average, have a life span of 10-13 years, so JoJo should not be considered "old" by any means. **The breed makes a challenging house pet, always ready for a bit of fun. Fox Terriers enjoy both country and city living, as long as a daily walk is provided. Without an outlet for their energy, Fox Terriers can become diggers. They are good with children and make excellent watchdogs. 

 

JoJo loves to stay close to his owner, being both playful and relaxed. He does bring a lot of love to his owner, but does require a firm hand when he test his boundaries. Once he learns what is expected of him, JoJo can be the greatest pet you've ever owned.

 

JoJo is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and is very well house trained. He is also heart worm free and has been on a monthly heart worm preventative for quite some time. He will let you know that he needs to go out by going to the door. If he's unable to get outdoors, he will wait. A home with a dog door leading to a fenced area would be a plus. JoJo is not destructive and can be trusted to have free access of a home in the absence of his owners.Crating JoJo, or any Fox Terrier, is not advisable.
