Little Dix and her friend, Zena, was abandoned by her owners in Glenwood after they moved. Both Dixie and Zena are now safely in our rescue.

 

Little Dix is a mix breed, looking like she may be a cross between a Dachshund and a Beagle, but we're not positive. She does have the markings of a Dachshund but the body size/shape of a Beagle. 

 

Little Dix is very playful with people of all ages and sizes. She will bark and warn you if a stranger approaches, as she is guarding her family. She is a fearless little girl but is not aggressive towards humans. She's not been cat tested, so we're not sure how she'll be around them.

 

Little Dix is crate trained and is house trained to an extent. She is up to date on all her vaccines and will be spayed before her adoption.
