A local family started noticing a stray female dog had began to show signs of being pregnant, so they took her under their care so that she'd have a safe place to deliver her litter. The pregnant dog was very sweet and receptive to their kindness. Shortly after the mom delivered her litter, she apparently got into a fight with some other animal, evident by the bite marks, that left her with a fractured leg. Not only did this family continue to care for mom and pups, they also covered the cost of having the mom's leg examined and treated by a vet and have offered to keep her for now. Their dedication to helping this mom and pups only increased our desire to help find the pups a home.

If you bring Halo into your family, you'll definitely be getting an angel! She's a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, you'll see why we think she was born with a halo over her head. Give this sweet girl the proper love and guidance and you'll have one incredible dog.

Halo has now received 2/3 of her first-year puppy vaccines, her Bordetella and rabies vaccinations as well as scheduled de-wormings and preventative care including being started on her flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Her adopter will have to agree to having Halo spayed once she turns 6 months of age and providing SoCo with verification of such. Halo will require all of her basic training.
