**Otto received his Freedom Flight ticket to NJ and is available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ over the Sept 6-7 weekend. Otto and his littermates came to our rescue as owner surrenders at the young age of just 5 weeks old. His former owner had agreed to foster the litter of pups until space became available at SoCo, but that all changed in an instant when Scott Bennett went to administer the first round of de-wormer. The manner in which the pups were being kept was very unsanitary and had already began to take its toll on the litter, so Scott had the owner surrender the pups to him. They are thriving at SoCo Rescue
after receiving lots of TLC from the SoCo staff.
We can already tell that Otto is going to be one very special dog and end up becoming much more than just someone's best friend. He has a very happy disposition and is full of affection, both of which he's happy to share with anyone at anytime. Otto will do well in a home with other animals and children who know how to properly handle a young pup.
Otto has received his first round of "puppy" vaccinations, de-wormings and other care. He currently will need to receive additional vaccines and such, the next coming due on Sept 9th. He can be pre-adopted but not released to his new home until on or after Sept. 16th. His adopter must agree to having Otto neutered once he reaches 6 months old and providing the rescue with verification of such. Otto will require all of his basic training.
