Dooley is a beautiful fawn colored "cowboy" pit bull. He is a very friendly dog that has gotten along great with the other dogs here. He is also people friendly and is always smiling.

Dooley came to us from Savannah, GA., being surrendered by his owner. Seems the former owner's room mate thought it would be "cute" to scare Dooley during the fireworks this past New Year's Day. When the room mate did so, Dooley, out of fright from the noise and the scare from the guy, did bite the room mate. Was Dooley at fault? We think not, especially since Dooley has shown no aggression since coming here, even during his adjustment time with us. Any dog, of any breed, that experienced the same thing would be most likely to bite out of fear. What the roommate did was totally irresponsible.

Dooley is up to date on all his vaccines and has been on a heart worm preventative. He is not neutered, but will need to be within 30 days of adoption, if not before. Any potential adopters will be scanned thoroughly, to ensure that this wonderful fellow goes to a proper home and not used for illegal or improper purposes.
