The battle to end the homeless and unwanted dog problem that currently overwhelms our area took yet another hit when a pregnant stray was found roaming the streets. With every shelter and rescue already overwhelmed, including SoCo Rescue, this particular expecting mom's future, and that of her coming litter, faced a grave outlook. Luckily, the woman who found the pregnant dog offered to foster her, and the 6 puppies that were born on May 17 if we would help with the vet care and placement of the pups. Ever so thankful for people such as this woman, we gladly agreed to providing what help we could.
Talk about personality, Toby simply redefines the meaning of the word. He's like the class clown, the practical joker, in fact, if a dog could do standup comedy, Toby would be a headliner act! Adding this boy to your home will only lead to smiles, laughs and lots of love!
As of July 28, Toby has received 2/3 of his first year "puppy" vaccinations with his last vaccine due on Aug 18. He's also been de-wormed, treated against parasites, received his Rabies and Bordatella vaccinations, started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. He will come with a microchip too. His adopter must agree to having Toby neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and providing SoCo Rescue with verification of such.
