Bruno is a Boxer mix male, approx. 2-3 yrs old.  He came to us from Savannah, where he was found living in the woods near a horse farm. He was rather cautious around the humans, but Bruno eventually came to trust and become friends to the owners and would "hang out" in their stables.

But because he would bark at strangers, which the stables had numerous new people coming out, Bruno was brought to our rescue.

At first, Bruno would not let anyone touch him. He's not aggressive towards humans, but shies away from them. After about 2 months, he came to trust us enough to get petted, loved on, and even belly rubs. Bruno has made great strides with humans, but the adopter must understand that an instant bond with Bruno may not happen, it may take a week or two. But when it does, you'll forget all about the wait, and treasure this new friend.

Bruno has been neutered, up to date on all vaccines and has been on a monthly heart worm preventative. He also has had his rabies vaccine, but it's renewal is due soon. He rides very well, and is leash trained.

He rides very well, and is leash trained. He is very playful, and can also just sit by your side. Bruno gets along better with dogs his size and larger. He can be aggressive towards small dogs. We're not sure how he'll be around cats, but think caution should be exercised if you have a cat.  Bruno is approx. 30-35 lbs.
