His Foster mom writes….Lambert is an easy going little dude. He quickly fell into the routine of our household. Lambert is crate trained and sleeps through the night. He gets along well with my dog and is eager to please. He has mastered sit, stay, and come! Lambert is a quick learner and is good off and on leash. He loves cuddling with other dogs and people.
…………………….
Lambert was found as a stray pup by the wife of a Wheeler Co (GA) Sheriff's Department deputy. The woman was driving home one night and saw him just sitting on the side of the road. Lambert was very thin and confused as to why he was left al alone. The deputy's wife took him home and her husband contacted SoCo seeking help.

From the moment Scott Bennett picked up Lambert, he was all tail wags and kisses. This fellow is so friendly and playful, shows no apprehension when meeting new people and plays very well with other dogs and puppies. He's very quick to become friends with anyone and everyone he meets, making him an ideal choice for anyone looking for a family companion. A home that can allow plenty of room and time for Lambert to run and play would be best for him.

Lambert has now received an update on all of his annual vaccinations, de-wormings and other vet care, including being started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. He has a slight case of Ricketts but with good food, calcium tablets and exercise, he should be in great shape . His adopter must agree to having Lambert neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and supplying SoCo Rescue with verification of such. Lambert will require all of his basic training.
