While Scott Bennett was spending the day at the vet's having dogs spay and neutered, he received a call from a young lady who said she found two puppies abandoned along a back road. The lady called the animal control who refused to pick up the pups and told her  "Take them back where you found them and leave them there." Not wanting to simply abandon the pups, she sought help from us and we were more than happy to do so.  
 

MaryAnn may be slightly smaller than her sister but that doesn't mean she gives up any ground when they are playing. While she can play just as rough and hard as any other pup, she does so with only playfulness and good intent as she is a very friendly girl. She will do very well in a home with another dog and/or children who know how to properly treat a dog.  ​

 

MaryAnn has received an update on her annual vaccinations, been dewormed, treated for parasites and started on her monthly preventatives. Her  adopter must agree to having her spay once MaryAnn  reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. She will require all of her basic training.
