Our Pointer mix pups had a very rude welcoming into life after being weaned from mom. It began at the very young age of 5 weeks when they were abandoned along a dirt road and didn’t stop before an unknown illness claimed the lives of two of the six pups. But for Lucas and his three siblings who survived the heartbreaking ordeal, life ahead looks to be much better. 

Lucas emerged from his near-death experience with such a positive, friendly personality. He loves to snuggle up with the people he meets and never misses an opportunity to make new friends with the other pups that he has met. Lucas will make a great addition into just about any home situation, even one with young children who are old enough to properly handle a young pup. 

Lucas has already received his three first year “puppy vaccinations, de-wormed and treated against parasites. He’s also been started on his monthly preventatives and is now a healthy, happy pup. His adopter must agree to having Lucas neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue.
