Clayton is a 9-year-old chihuahua mix looking for his new forever home. 3.5 years ago, Clayton’s mom passed away suddenly. She left behind a special needs adult son who was devastated by the loss of his mom and only real friend. He loved his dog Clayton, so the family decided to give it a chance and allowed him to remain with the son. All went well for about 3 years. It started to become more difficult for the son to take proper care of him. With a heavy heart he relinquished him so he could find a new family to love him like he and his mom did.

Clayton puts a new meaning to the word SNUGGLE. He couldn’t be happier than to lie in bed with you, cuddling and giving kisses.  Even though he’s 9, he still enjoys playing and running around. He loves his toys and his wardrobe. A handsome sweater or favorite football jersey is right up his alley. 

He gets along with female dogs, big & small. Some males he plays the dominance game. We always suggest all dogs to meet in advance that would be living together.

He does need some leash refreshing as he had begun puling since the son began walking him. He weighs approximately 10 pounds and is in good health.
