Murry and his three siblings were found abandoned in a field when they were just 2 weeks of age. Their eyes were barely open, they were in pretty bad condition and in dire need of help. The person that found them immediately contacted a fellow rescuer, who then contacted SoCo for help. Unfortunately one of the tiny pups passed away before they were brought to our rescue. After a couple of weeks under our care, Murry and his two remaining siblings regained their health and now appear to be very healthy and happy.

Besides being the largest of his litter, Murry is also the self-appointed leader. Almost immediately after his arrival, Murry became very accepting of our friendship and has remained very well socialized towards people. He's very smart, friendly and just darn cute! With proper training, Murry will make a great family companion and will do very well around children who know how to properly treat a young pup.

As of July 29, Murry has received 2/3 of his first year "puppy" vaccinations, his bordetella and rabies vaccines, been treated against worms and parasites and started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. His adopter must agree to having Murry neutered once he reaches six months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. His adopter should be prepared to prove Murry with all of his basic training. A microchip will accompany his adoption.
