When a truck driver stopped for fuel in Mississippi, he noticed a male Lab roaming the parking lot and looking lost. After asking the store's staff members about the dog, he learned that someone had left him behind a few days earlier. Not wanting to simply leave this friendly fellow behind, the driver loaded the Lab into his truck and headed for home in Georgia. Once back in Georgia and with no other plan for this dog, the driver sought out help from SoCo Rescue and we were able to take "Diesel" into our family.

Diesel has that ability to make new friends in an instant. He loves people and other dogs equally, getting along great with each that he meets. He's playful, funny and just a bundle of fun. He is a very active dog that will do best with an active family. Diesel will make a great family addition and should excel with proper training.

Diesel has been neutered, given an update on his annual vaccinations, de-wormed and treated against parasites. He's also been kept on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, even testing negative for heartworms during his recent vet examination. Diesel may need additional house training.
