McBride and another dog, Shadow, were found as strays after they wandered onto the property of a local family. The family graciously gave both dogs safe shelter, love and care until we were able to get them into our rescue. The two seem to know each other and while it would be great to keep them together, we will consider adopting them separately.

McBride is such a great little fellow, very friendly towards people and other dogs. He's also extended his friendliness towards our house cat! He's pretty laid back, obviously accustomed to being a lap dog and spending time around people. 

McBride has now been neutered, received an update on his annual vaccinations, been de-wormed and kept on his monthly preventatives. He's also recently tested negative for heartworms. McBride may need additional house training but seems to have received some training in the past.
