***Adoption Pending ***

Chance had apparently been down on his luck and living as a stray for a quite some time. Life as a homeless dog had left him without a number of things such as food, water or shelter, but most of all, without anyone who truly cared about him. But all of that changed when his path crossed that of one of our wonderful foster families. Little did Chance know, but that day would change his life forever and put hope back into his life. Chance was taken to the foster's home, completed his 10 day hold without anyone claiming him and then began his journey back to health.  In fact, Chance is heavier that he looks in these photos. 

Chance has since been a very friendly dog. He initially presents himself as a little shy but quickly gives tail wags and doggy kisses to everyone he meets. He loves going on car rides, leash walks and just having fun with whoever is willing to play with him. Chance has interacted well with another dog who is also at his foster home and should coexist in a home with other dogs, but we'll still require a "meet-and-greet" with any other dogs that Chance would share a home with. Chance has not been cat tested. 

Chance has now been neutered, received an update on all of his annual vaccinations, de-wormings  and kept on his monthly preventatives. Chance was heartworm positive when he first came to us but has since been treated.  His adopter should be prepared to offer additional house and leash training.
