Lucky and his two siblings were found near the dumpster site at the Broken Shackle Ranch, a men's substance abuse recovery facility. The family that owns and operates the facility is also one of SoCo Rescue's finest foster families and has helped a number of former SoCo Rescue dogs. The pups must have heard that they could find not only shelter, food and water at the home, they'd also find plenty of companionship and love as well. 

The first thing you'll notice about Lucky and his siblings is how big they are at only 4 1/2 to 5 months of age. Of course it doesn't take long to notice their most impressive trait, their super friendly personalities! These pups love to romp and play just as most pups do but then turn into gentle giants when they've been around young children.

Being the lone male among this litter, Lucky seems to have taken on the role of protector of his sisters. He's usually the first to investigate new things and has displays no fear when meeting new people. He's a gentle soul with really big feet that he'll eventually grow into. Lucky will make a great family companion and should do very well with young children

Lucky has received an update on all of his annual vaccinations, de-wormings and other such care. We've also started him on his month heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Lucky's adopter should be prepared to offer him all of his basic training.
