Description:
***Adoption Pending*** Tubbs and his sister, Twinkie, came to SoCo Rescue as owner surrenders. Their former owner pulled into our parking lot with his truck and trailer fully loaded and informed us that he was moving that day and could not take the pups with him. All too often we encounter people who are moving, can't take their dogs with them and seem to wait until the very last minute to try and make other living arraignments for their pets. Despite this obvious lack of concern for for their pets, we at SoCo are determined to find those such dogs a new home where they'll have much more consideration by their new owners and never have to worry about being in search of a new home again. Tubbs is an extremely friendly and playful pup who thrives on human contact, despite obviously having never gotten such attention while with his former owner. Tubbs also loves to play with other pups and has gotten alone great with all of the other dogs that he's interacted with while here at our rescue. He does have a lot of energy and needs an active family who can give him plenty of room to run and play. Tubbs is scheduled to be neutered on April 20 and then will be ready for adoption. He's also received an update on all of his yearly vaccinations, de-wormings, started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and other such vet care. He will require all of his basic training, especially being taught not to jump up on people. With proper training, Tubbs can become a trusted and loyal companion.
