Neecie's foster family reports that she has been doing great in their home.  She has proved to be house trained and is good with the cat.  She loves toys and can be playful but also loves her couch time.  She has been friendly to everyone, other dogs and kids too.  She knows basic commands, fetch and come. She is working on leash training and will likely need moderate exercise.  She has a sweet, gentle, playful personality and would be good both as an only dog as well as  in a home with another dog or a cat!

Being in an economically depressed area of Georgia, we quite often come across people who simply can't afford to have their pets spayed or neutered, resulting in unwanted litters. Such is the case with Neecie and her siblings, who were surrendered to our rescue by their former owner. 

Neecie is almost an exact copy of her brother, Nelson, having a big dog body and short, little legs. But the most adorable thing about this girl is her wonderful personality and playful spirit. Neecie will make a great family companion if given the proper training and guidance.

Neecie has now been spayed, received an update on her yearly vaccinations, de-wormed and treated against parasites. She's also been started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Her adoption will include a microchip as well. She will require all of her house, leash and other basic training.
