***Adoption Pending***

While taking her trash to a local dumpster site, a woman noticed a female dog and her four puppies scrounging for food. When she tried to approach the dogs they quickly ran into a drain pipe, which is where this family of dogs were apparently living. The woman could tell that the mom and pups had been there for a while and all seemed very scared of people. After a couple of failed attempts at trying to lure the dogs to her, the woman was able to catch all five dogs with the aid of a couple of dog traps and brought them to our rescue. 

Cliffy apprehension of people is quickly fading with each passing day. He's started playing with our staff, giving kisses and even greeting us with tail wags. With a calm, patient home, he will continue to make progress and, we expect, will become very trusting in people. 

Cliffy's life at the dumpster left him with parasites and worms, both of which he's now been treated for. At the time of this posting he's also received 2/3 of his first year "puppy" vaccines with the final round being due on 11/15/20. He's also received his rabies and bordetella vaccines and started on his monthly preventatives. Cliffy's adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
