ADOPTION PENDING - Tonya and her eight litter mates were found living under a deserted house when they were just over a month old. Since there was no mom dog to be found in the area, we can only assume they were purposely left at that location. Fortunately,  the man who lives next to the abandoned house has a very compassionate heart towards animals took them in, provided food, water and gave them shelter until we could get the pups into our rescue.

When they first arrived, the pups were covered in fleas, loaded with worms and parasites and suffering from Demodex mange. We treated each of their ailments, brought them back to good health and now they all are ready to find their forever home.

Calm, playful, smart...just a few of the words we can use to try and describe Tonya. Her "shy at first" personality doesn't mean she timid, in fact she loves to play and spend time with people as much as she does other pups. This girl will make a great companion and become a lifelong friend.

Tonya has now received all of her first year puppy vaccines, been de-wormed and treated against parasites. She was started on her monthly preventatives which included receiving Bravecto, a 3 month flea/tick preventative, which also addressed her Demodex mange. Tonya's' adopter must agree to having her spayed once she reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue.
