While shopping at her local Walmart, a woman noticed a man sitting next to a "Free Puppies" sign with one pup inside a cage. It seems as if Claire was the last of the pups to be given away and appeared tired and dehydrated after sitting in the sun all day with no shade or even water to provide any relief from the heat of the day. When asking f she could have the pup, the man handed Claire to the woman, no questions asked, then quickly left the parking lot area. 

Claire has been at a foster home since her rescue. She's proven to be very friendly and playful with a very subdued side to her as well. She'll make an excellent family companion and should coexist very well with another dog.

Claire has been spayed, received an update on her vaccinations and been de-wormed. She's also been kept on her monthly preventatives. A microchip will accompany her adoption.
