Toto and his siblings were born homeless. Their mom, a feral dog, had wandered onto the property of a Glenwood resident and had her litter. As soon as the pups turned 4 weeks, the property owner gave us an option: "Get them today or I'll just kill them"! While this man claimed to love dogs, he made it clear that he didn't want the dogs on his property any longer. After giving chase, we were able to secure Toto  and his siblings but their mom proved to be too elusive and was last seen running away into the woods.

Toto is a very friendly, laidback pup. He, as his siblings, were all a bit apprehensive towards people at first but has now become very trusting of them. With proper guidance and a little patience, ToTo will make a great addition to just about any home. 

As of April 9, Toto  has received 2/3 of his first year puppy vaccines with a final vaccination being due on April 30. He's also received his rabies, been de-wormed and treated against parasites. We've also started him on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.  A microchip will accompany his adoption.
