Chex is doing amazing in his foster home...he’s great with other dogs, kids and loves to snuggle.  He would make a wonderful family pet.

Chex was found living at a dumpster site by a county code enforcement officer, who job it was to monitor the dump sites for illegal trash dumping. The man took compassion on Chex, provided temporary housing until we could get Chex into a safe foster. Chex has been boarded at our vet's office since that time, receiving love and care from the vet's staff.

At first Chex was terrified, living homeless and having to search for your daily morsels of food will do that to a dog. He's since proven to be very friendly towards people and has also interacted well with other dogs but we suggest a meet-and-greet with any dogs at his potential home. 

Chex has now been fully vetted, has re-gained his health and even tested negative for heartworms. He may need additional house training as we're not sure if he's ever lived in a home before.
