Unfortunately, it's a familiar story....the former owner moved and left mom (Lexi) & her 5 puppies behind.

Thank goodness there was a caring neighbor who saw the mom scrounging for food and coming back each night to be with her pups. Lexi did a great job because the puppies were in great shape but she was extremely thin.  Even though they were covered in fleas, all the puppies seemed to handle their ordeal pretty well.
