**Cheech will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Nov 9-11 weekend.**

Cheech and her litter mates all came to SoCo Rescue as owner surrenders but not because their former owner was irresponsible, which is usually the case in our area. Their mom had been a stray that wandered onto the property of a Glenwood resident. Not only did this man give the stray, who he named “Daisy”, love and compassion, but also committed himself to caring for her puppies that would soon arrive after it was discovered that Daisy was also pregnant. This man did provide excellent care and kept Cheech and her siblings until they were old enough and space opened for us to take them in. Going a step further, the man opted to keep Daisy and we had her spay through our “Help A Neighbor” program.

Cheech is the runt of her litter but has the biggest ears you've probably ever seen on a pup! She's very friendly but, like her siblings, is a little shy at first. But her extremely cute face and comical ways will capture your heart in no time

Cheech has received 2/3 of her first year “puppy” vaccinations (her final vaccine will be due on Nov.21), de-wormed, received her rabies and bordetella vaccinations and started on her monthly preventatives. She's also already been spay as well. 

Cheech mom is a medium-sized Lab mix and we’re not sure who her dad was. While we're not positive of her breed mix, we expect Cheech to be a medium sized dog once fully grown.
