**Misti will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Nov 9-11 weekend.**

Misti and two other dogs were originally “rescued” by a man who lived in a trailer park. All three had been strays who were in desperate need of a home and it was a very kind gesture that this man did in offering them a place to stay. But after the man was diagnosed with cancer, he relocated to New York and left the dogs alone to once again fend for themselves and in need of rescue. That’s when another rescue group stepped up and offered to take them in. With limited resources to find the dogs a new home, the other rescue asked SoCo if we could help find them new homes and we gladly agreed to help.

Since being with the other rescue, Misti, a 5-6 year old Lab mix, has proven to be very friendly and is very good around children of all ages. She walks well on a leash, appears to be house trained and is very friendly to everyone she meets. She does get along great with other dogs but a proper, slow “meet-and-greet” is needed to give her time to get to know the other dog. Misti has not yet been cat tested so we’re not sure how she’ll be with them.

Misti has now been spay, received an update on all of her vaccinations, de-wormed and started on her monthly preventatives. She also recently tested negative for heartworms.
