**Heather is being fostered and only available for adoption in the Pennington, NJ area. She will be at our upcoming adoption event at Rosedale Mills over the Sept 14-16 weekend.**

Heather and her three siblings were found abandoned near a dumpster, left there to die by whoever discarded them. The pups, barely old enough to be away from their mom as it was, had the worst case of demodex mange that we have ever seen, their little bodies covered with scabs instead of fur. Instead of being full of food, their bellies were swollen with worms and parasites. At first we didn't know if they would survive but after a lot of dedicated work by the SoCo team, Heather and her siblings began to show improvement and now have beautiful coats of fur to match their much improved health.

Heather, the largest of her siblings, was the first to become accepting of her new human friends and remains a very affectionate pup. She will shower you with kisses and loves to snuggle, amazing traits for a puppy that was once treated with so much disregard by whoever once had her. She will definitely be a great addition to just about any home.

Heather has almost completed her full set of first year puppy vaccinations, been de-wormed and started on her monthly preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
