**MJ is a courtesy listing for another rescue group and is scheduled to be appear at our upcoming adoption event at PetSense in Dublin, GA on June 16. We'll be there from 10-3 with many dogs available for adoption.***

MJ came in need of a new home when her former family decided to surrender her. After one of their children suffered a long term illness, the expenses began to mount for the family and they knew they had to find another home for their beloved pet.

MJ lived as an indoor dog at her former home,being very well house trained, but also loved spending time outdoors as well. She is also crate trained as there were times the family would have to crate her when they had to leave her home alone. MJ loved playing with the children, loves to go on car rides and was indifferent towards the family's cat. She's also gotten alone very well with other dogs. Her only "negative" is that she can and will jump a fence if she gets scared or feel threatened so leaving her outdoors and unattended in not recommended.

MJ recently tested negative for heart worms, has been spay and is up to date on all of her vaccinations and monthly preventatives. While she was house trained at her former home, she may need a little time to adjust once in her new home.
