**Dixie will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (pennington, NJ) over the June 1-3 weekend.**

Dixie was among the six dogs that were surrendered to SoCo by an elderly lady after she realized she could no longer provide proper care for all of her dogs. In all, Dixie shared her former home with 10 other dogs.

Dixie is an instant friend to everyone and every dog she meets. Her wonderful, loving personality makes her a great candidate for just about any home, even one with young children. She's never shown any aggression only a desire to give and receive love. 

Dixie has been fully vetted, de-wormed and restarted on her monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. She also recently tested negative for heart worms. While her former owner claims she is house trained, a refresher course may be necessary once she's in a new home.
