**Cissy will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the June 1-3 weekend.**

While enjoying a day at the park with her children, a woman came across two very skinny, very scared little pups hiding under a picnic table. Both pups had numerous ant bites all over their swollen bellies and neither appeared to have had a meal in a few days. Since there was a fence surrounding the perimeter of the park, the woman knew that the pups had most likely been abandoned in the park. "Cissy " and her brother "Cisco", were brought to our rescue that same day.

Cissy was very scared and confused when she first arrived to SoCo Rescue but became very accepting of us after a couple of days. While she is very friendly and well socialized towards us she remains a calm, slightly timid little pup. Despite her reserved personality, Cissy seems to thoroughly enjoy her interaction with people. She also plays very well with other dogs and appears to also be cat friendly.

Cissy is most likely a Catahuola mix and should grow to be a medium to large sized dog. She's  already started receiving her first year vaccinations, wormings and other such care to ensure that she'll be a very healthy pup. Her adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and providing proof of such to our rescue.
