**Mikki will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the June 1-3 weekend.**

Mikki and her two siblings came very close to having a very short life. At approx 1 month of age, this trio of pups had been abandoned in a ditch at a man's house and he came very close to running over them with his lawn mower. If the man hadn't seen some movement in the tall grass  Mikki, along with her brother and sister, would have been shredded by the mower's blades. The man contacted SoCo and we gladly took the pups in. 

While she was scared and confused, Mikki instantly accepted us and her new surroundings when she first arrived at our rescue. Mikki remains quite affectionate and very personable while also loving to play with other pups. She's also been introduced to our house cat and seems to get along with her feline counterparts as well. It's easy to see that Mikki is going to be one of those "Once-in-a-lifetime" type of dogs that will forever have your heart.

While we're not positive, we think Mikki is a Shepherd mix and could grow to be approx 60 lbs. As of 5/14, she's received 2/3 of  her first year puppy vaccinations, wormings and other such care to ensure she'll grow to be very healthy. If adopted prior to turning 6 months of age, Mikki's adopter must agree to having her spay at 6 mos and proving proof of such to our rescue.
