**Diamond will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the May 3-5 weekend.**

Mixed in among all of the strays that have been found recently was a diamond of a dog. So wonderful is this medium-sized mixed breed girl that we named her Diamond, which doesn't even begin to describe her true quality.

When she was found, Diamond was thin and in need of some TLC. Luckily she was taken in by a very compassionate woman who cared for her until a spot at SoCo opened for her. Now that she's received an update on all of her vaccinations, been spay and found to be heartworm free, Diamond is ready to find her new home.

We're not positive exactly what her breed mix is but she has short legs similar to a Beagle, the head of a Lab and very unique markings in a brindle color. Accompanying these unique features is her ability to actually smile, which she does quite often.

It's easy to tell that Diamond once spent time with a family, be that as an inside or outdoors dog. She's way too sweet and accustomed to being around people to have spent a lot of time alone or being neglected. And she was near perfect at her temporary home when interacting with other dogs and even cats. She responds very well to corrective instructions and seems very intelligent, which should make it easy for her to become fully house trained. Diamond is truly a jewel of a dog!
