Trotter will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (in Pennington, NJ) over the May 3-5 weekend.**

Trotter has had a rough start to life: After being found as a stray puppy on a dirt road, he was taken in by a very compassionate woman who thought about keeping him. But after her dogs starting trying to attack him, she knew the best thing for Trotter was to give him up. When he first came to us, Trotter was missing almost most of his fur from his face, front legs and back. Poor fellow had a very bad case of Demodex mange which had cause his skin to become inflamed and red, which was also very painful for him.

But now Trotter has been treated for his demodex (which you can read about by clicking here: https://www.petmd.com/dog/general-health/evr_dg_demodectic_mange_in_dogs) and has regrown most of his missing fur. We've also updated all of his vaccines, had him neutered and started him on his monthly preventatives. To say Trotter is feeling much better is a definite understatement!

Trotter is very playful with other pups and adores human contact. While we expect him to grow to be a very large dog, he is a mush at heart! Trotter also seems very smart with the ability to learn much with proper guidance. Trotter will make someone a great companion.
