**Charlie will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills in Pennington, NJ over the March 23-25th weekend.**

It was a tearful day when Charlie's former owner had to surrender their two dogs due to an impending move. While both dogs had been with this family for all of their lives and had been given the best of care, the family had no other choice but to relinquish ownership of them. 

While Charlie will bark at strangers, all it takes is some petting and affection towards this little fellow to win him over. He shared his former home with young children and another dog (Roxanne, his mother) without ever showing any aggressive nature. According to his former owner, Charlie did very well on his house training but does need some work on his leash training. He is a very personable and will make a great companion for someone wanting a small to medium sized lap dog.

Charlie has now been fully vetted, received an update on all of his vaccinations and recently tested negative for heart worms.
