**Chessie will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills, in Pennington, NJ, over the Dec 1-3 weekend**

This stunning girl is Chessie, who came to us from a local animal control. Chessie was impounded as a stray and slated for euthanasia when we came across her. All it took was a second of time spent with her to see that this girl definitely deserved rescuing!

Chessie is a super-sweet girl who is playful and energetic. She gets along very well with other dogs and simply loves people. During her time with us, Chessie has met and spent time with a number of different dogs or all sizes and breeds and has never shown any aggressive nature towards any of them.  She definitely appears to have some Dachshund mix to her, she is larger than the average Dachshund.

Chessie appears to have had some house training in her past but will need a refresher course once in a new home. While she does walk well on a leash, she does pull and is stronger than she looks but has been making much progress with her leash training. We're not sure how she'll do around cats as she does get a bit excited and barks when she sees them. 

Chessie has been fully vetted and tested negative for heart worms on Nov. 15, 2017.
