**Trigger is in a very loving foster home in the Pennington, NJ area**

Trigger had a very rough start in life, being born as a feral pup. But his mom was determined to see her babies survive and eventually led them onto the property of a local family who did what they could to keep them all safe and well fed until homes could be found for them. Unfortunately some of the pups disappeared, others found homes but Trigger and his brother Truman eventually came to our rescue. The family offered a home to the mom dog and will have her spay asap.

Trigger's early life caused him to be a bit wary of humans but has come a long way. We've seen so  much progress in him, he now will play and interact with us. His ideal home will be one that's calm and well structured as the guidance and routines set upon him will help him further along in his socialization. Trigger's not aggressive and will make someone a great companion.

While we're not exactly sure of his breed mix, we think Trigger may have some Lab mixed in. We expect him to grow to be a medium to large sized dog, most likely around 45-50 lbs. 

Trigger has already been neutered and is up to date with his vaccinations and other such vet care. He's been started on his monthly preventatives and a microchip will accompany his adoption.
