**Truman will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mill in Pennington, NJ, over the Dec 15-17 weekend**

Truman's life started out in a very difficult manner. His mom was a stray who appeared at a Glenwood home with a litter of puppies struggling to nurse off of her frail body. Truman and his siblings were considered feral pups and quickly developed a hesitancy for trusting in humans. 

But thanks to the enduring kindness of the family who tried to help them, Truman and most of his siblings, as well as their mom, survived their hard times. While the family kept the mom dog and some of his siblings found homes elsewhere, Truman and his brother Trigger eventually made their way to our rescue. 

Truman remains a little timid of humans but is continuously making progress. While he'll most likely always be a bit on the timid side, he loves to bounce around and play. He gets along great with other pups and has a very great personality. He'll do best in a home with older, animal-responsible children and one without undue commotion. A little patience and understanding will help Truman become the perfect family addition. 

While we're not exactly sure of his breed mix, we think Truman may have some Lab mixed in. We expect him to grow to be a medium to large sized dog, most likely around 45-50 lbs. 

Truman has already been neutered and is up to date with his vaccinations and other such vet care. He's been started on his monthly preventatives and a microchip will accompany his adoption.
