Description:
UPDATE - CORNBREAD HAS MOVED TO THE DUBLIN (GA) -LAURENS HUMANE SOCIETY - SHE IS STILL ADOPTABLE- INQUIRIES: 478-272-5341. Named ‘Cornbread’ because that’s what enticed her to finally trust the humans who coaxed her to safety after she was abandoned at a roadside dump site near Mcrae, Georgia. She’d spent several days at the dumpster, confused and lonely, with an old shoe as her friend. It didn’t take long to realize what a little rascal Cornbread is! This young gal is full of herself! Cornbread absolutely adores all other dogs (large-small, young-old) and she plays with passion! She is also passionate about snuggling and lap time with her humans! She enjoys chases cats – but has not exhibited any threat or harm to them. Cornbread is not a nuisance barker, but she does require toys, rawhides and adequate companionship/playtime to avoid becoming bored. She is a ‘compact model’ dog – short stubby legs and no more than 14 inches high at her head – but weighing about 26 lbs! She is estimated to be 18-24 months. Cornbread is accustomed to being crated for short times as she is learning housetraining. While she loves being outdoors, she does have a tendency to go on ‘walk-abouts’, so she should always be leashed or in a fenced yard. With the right environment, this little ‘rascal’ will make someone a very loyal, happy best friend! For information on how to meet Cornbread – contact SoCoRescue@yahoo.com
