**Mitsy will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills over the Sept 8-10 weekend**

Mitsy formerly belonged to a woman who had plans to simply leave her two dogs behind or surrender them to her county shelter after she moved. But a very kindhearted lady, who had been helping the former owner with both dogs for the previous year, just wasn't going to let that happen. After this good Samaritan  posted a plea for rescue help, SoCo Rescue was able to assist in finding them a new home.

While at her former home, she received very little human interaction, which has left her in need of some basic training. Despite that need, Mitsy is a very people and dog friendly girl who just wants to be loved. She has never shown any aggressive nature, making her a great candidate as a family companion and would do very well in a home with another dogWe're not sure how she'll be around cats.

Mitsy has been spay and recently had all of her vaccinations updated. She tested negative for heart worms on 8/31/17 and if kept on a monthly preventative, should remain heart worm free. A microchip will accompany her adoption.
