**Fancy will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills, Pennington, NJ, over the July 28-30 weekend.**

Miss Fancy Pants, aka"Fancy", came to our rescue after her former owner, a backyard breeder, decided it was time to surrender some of her dogs. In all, we took in 10 dogs from this breeder, 8 of which have gone on to find their new homes!

Fancy had been used as a breeding machine and recently had a litter of pups when we took her in.  While she had been kept indoors during the nursing of her pups, her owner regulated her to an already overcrowded outdoor kennel, which she shared with 6 other dogs, once she had finished nursing her pups. By the time we rescued her, Fancy was flea infested and was missing patches of her fur due to the infestation. 

Since coming to SoCo, Fancy has been spay, fully vaccinated and did test negative for heart worms. We also treated her flea infestation and raw spots and she is in much better health now. Despite her former life and still being a little timid, Fancy remains a friendly, playful girl who will make someone a great lap pet. She will most likely need some house training as were not sure she's ever been given this training.
