Charlie has been in a loving foster home for months. They love him but do to work & travel schedules it’s hard to keep him.  Here is what his foster dad has to say about Charlie.....

 

Charlie is a little 8-year-old shitzu mix I have been fostering for the past few months. He has had a bit of a rough background, but over the past few months I have fostered him, he has become comfortable, sweet, and an overall great dog! He is great with other dogs and people and has a great energy and excitement for his age. He can be a little stubborn at times but that starts to go away as he becomes more comfortable with you and his surroundings. As far as house training, Charlie has had a few accidents. They mostly happened at the beginning when we were getting to know each-others schedule. Since we got our schedules aligned and in a good routine, he has no problem making it a full day. The only issues that have come up are when my schedule has changed unexpectedly and when I transitioned his food, both not his fault. Overall, Charlie is a great dog! Ideally, I think he would be great for a family who has some flexibility in their schedule to spend some quality time with him, especially at first and a fenced in yard so he has some space to run off leash. I ’ m happy to vouch for him and his personality and answer any questions a potential family has about him!

This simply handsome little Shih Tzu is Charlie. He came to SoCo Rescue after his former family’s grandson was discovered to be highly allergic to all dogs.
