**Cheyenne will be available for adoption at our upcoming event at Rosedale Mills over the June 16-18 weekend**

Cheyenne's former owners were tragically killed in an auto accident, leaving her and another senior dog without a home. The only relatives of the deceased owners took both dogs to our vet's office in hopes they could help find them a new home. While the other dog did find her new home, Cheyenne is still hopeful of finding hers. Our vet has asked that SoCo Rescue help find that home.

Cheyenne is super friendly to both people and other dogs. She thrives on human contact so her new home should be one where she'll get a lot of attention and interaction with people. She was house trained while with her former owners but may need a refresher course once in a new home.

Cheyenne is a very healthy dog, heart worm negative but our vet declined to spay her due to her age. He also feels that, due to her age, she should forego her yearly DHLPP vaccination as well but has recently had an update to her rabies vaccine. Even though she's a senior dog, Cheyenne still has a lot of life left in her and deserves to be in a home where she can be loved and cared for.
