**Tessa is scheduled to attend our upcoming adoption event at Rosedale Mills in Pennington, NJ over the Feb 17-19 weekend**

Tessa and two of her siblings found themselves in quite the predicament after a relative of their former owner took them to a vet to have them euthanized simply because the three dogs kept getting out of a low-fenced kennel. Luckily that vet agreed to work with us and didn't euthanize the three pups, allowing us time to find a safe place for them to stay.

Tessa is a bit shy upon first meeting new people but tends to open up to them rather quickly once she knows you're a friend. She has shown to be very affectionate, smart and gentle, even wanting to play with her human counterparts. She does get along great with other dogs. Tessa will need further leash and house training but should master those feats rather quickly with proper guidance

Tessa has recently had an update on all of her vaccines and has been spay. She tested negative for heart worms and appears to be a very healthy girl.
