Donna and her siblings are just more examples of the growing problem of unwanted litters of pups in the south. After their former owner tried, unsuccessfully, to pass them off as Rottweiler pups and sell them, he simply left them at a home that already had a number of dogs even though those people couldn't care for the pups. While there is the possibility that a small amount of  Rottie breeding may be in their mix, these pups definitely look to be primarily Black Lab.

Donna, the smallest of the three, has a warm and friendly personality. She is well socialized towards humans, plays well with other pups her own size and appears to be headed to being a great family pet. 

At approximately 4 months of age and as of Aug. 5, 2016 Donna has already received two of her three first year vaccinations that help protect her from parvo, distemper and such. She's also received her rabies and bordetella vaccines, been treated against parasites, de-wormed and started on monthly heart worm, flea and tick preventatives. If adopted prior to 6 months of age, her adopter must agree to having Donna spayed once she reaches the appropriate age of 6-7 months and supplying our rescue with verification. A microchip will be included upon her adoption.
